That’s exactly how I feel.
There will be no references to Pacquiao and his win here. I don’t see myself as someone who knocked out an enemy. In fact, I feel a bit bad because I know the translated document I submitted isn’t as good as my previous ones.
After several bouts with a couple of illnesses and a bum tooth, I finally got it done.
I’m glad, of course, because this means I’m free to do stuff again.
Translation takes a lot out of me. I’m not exactly the best, but I somehow landed this gig and there’s no way anyone can try to steal this from me. It pays more than double the amount I earn from other writing gigs, so no, I’m not giving up.
I’ve killed thousands of brain cells in the process, but I keep at it.
Money’s a very good motivator.
And now, for some decent sleep.

sana binuo mo na yung comment kesa bitin hindi ko tuloy alam kung anong isasagot ko.
niway hindi ko alam ang istorya ng buhay mo, pero sa istorya ng buhay ko kung hindi ako kakayod hindi ako kakain. kahit masarap isipin na mabubuhay tayo sa pagkakaibigan at pagmamahalan, hindi ko pa nasusubukan na ipambayad sa renta ng bahay ang kagandahang loob.

Well, I’ve done reading all of your posts.. Yeah, all 30 pages of it.. Took me 3 days too.. So, I guess “Tagumpaaaay” is also an aprropriate battle cry for me too ^_^..
Anyway, I enjoyed reading all of it, especially the “Dahil Puno na Ang Salop” post..

eto nalan, hindi as motivator. . . pero kelangan talaga sya ng tao.
huhuhu, sori ulit. ewan, im having contradictions kasi pag pera ang usapan. i just dont like the feeling of being pressured to get money. kasi, people around me are just pushing me to have much of it.
and im sick. gusto ko na nga lan yun tamang tama lan, wala na para sa luho(kahit mahirap). . . teka, hindi ako mayaman ha, baka kasi i will sound like i am.

actually, hmm, hindi talaga maganda yung pinipilit ka ng ibang tao kumita. kaso kasi, pagdating mo sa isang punto, ikaw na talaga ang magsasabi na kailangan mong kumita.
ako din, naniniwala ako na mas masaya yung simple (yung may pambili ako ng bahay namin tsaka extrang pera para sa wii hehe). minsan lang talaga kahit yung “sakto lang” mahirap abutin kung hindi ka kakayod. kung hindi ko kailangan ng pera nasa macau na ko ngayon nagbebenta ng egg tarts.
